Crooked (played by moone) edgar is wary of crooked, but finds a bit of comfort in their mutual tendency for the unpredictable. edgar treads friendships like walking over broken glass, but he regards crooked with a sort of admiration and appreciation. at the same time, edgar can’t help but prod at the man’s superstitions, sprinkling a few white lies in with the stories he tells of the supernatural. he is also a bit envious of his mustache. Ellar (played by moone) an apprentice of edgar’s. once known as ‘that one who fetches edgar’s coffee and cigarettes.’ at first edgar brought him along on cases for use of his psychometric talents, but has since kept him on, finding his disposition useful for odd jobs like acting as a buffer for the dreadful small talk and pleasantries that are common when investigating leads. he does not regard ellar as a friend, but he does find himself not wishing ill of him either. the duck is a different story.
